MIDAQ recruits CBDO to Group management

MIDAQ AB has hired Marcus Hellerstedt as CBDO, Chief Business Development Officer, in the parent company. The role is completely new at MIDAQ and Marcus’ areas of responsibility will include include business development, business analysis and change work for the entire MIDAQ Group. As a CBDO, Marcus takes a place in the group management and he will, with his competence and experience, contribute to continuing to develop the MIDAQ group.

Marcus Hellerstedt most recently came from a position as Head of Group Business Controlling at ITAB Group. Marcus has been responsible for Business Controlling globally for the ITAB Group since 2016 and was acting in the Group Management during the spring of 2020. Prior to that, Marcus worked for 15 years as an authorized public accountant and Director at PwC in Jönköping. Marcus lives in Jönköping and will take up his position on 1 November 2020.

VALIDI, part of MIDAQ, acquires Ekoteamet

VALIDI acquires 90% of the shares in Ekoteamet Växjö from NAB Solutions AB and with the acquisition gets a good platform to expand our operations in Småland. Following the acquisition of Ekoteamet, VALIDI has established offices in Jönköping, Anderstorp and Växjö. Jenny Andersson, accounting economist and site manager at the Växjö office, remains a partner. The eco – team’s strength is i.a. cutting-edge expertise in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central business system, a cloud-based all-in-one solution that connects companies’ finances with other parts of the business. The eco-team fits in well with VALIDI’s strategy and is the next step on our growth journey. We see great opportunities with a broader expertise in digital and automated business systems. Together with VALIDI’s combined experience and expertise in consulting, financial and business services, we will be a strong and professional financial partner with a local presence in Småland, says VALIDI’s CEO Cecilia Käppi. We at NAB Solutions are pleased that VALIDI is taking over as owner and continues to develop the Ekoteamet into a more complete supplier in financial and business services, says NAB Solutions founder Dan Erngård. Our companies are two players with specialist expertise in our respective areas and Dynamics 365 Business Central is the business system of the future. MIDAQ establishes the IT company CloudIQ AB, a new subsidiary of MIDAQ Consulting AB. CloudIQ works with a wide range of cloud-based IT services and provides clients with innovative solutions in a simple, smart and Småland way. CloudIQ has offices in central Jönköping.

New CEO of MIDAQ Outdoor Living

MIDAQ has recruited Jonas Netterström as the new CEO and business area manager to the MIDAQ Outdoor Living AB business area. The business area consists of the companies Hillerstorps Trä AB, Gårdsman AB and Simons Metall AB.

Jonas Netterström has extensive experience from consumer products, outdoor and strong brands and most recently came from Cycleurope in Varberg, where he served as CEO. Cycleurope has a broad brand portfolio comprising e.g. Monarch and Crescent.

Jonas Netterström will take up his position as CEO and business area manager on 14 April 2020.

MIDAQ acquires Simons Metall AB

Via MIDAQ Outdoor Living AB, MIDAQ has acquired 100% of the shares in Simons Metall AB from Torbjörn Nordenström.

Simons Metall manufactures and sells plastic boat fittings and blow molds for the outdoor environment, such as floating elements and buoys (simonsmetall.se).

The business will continue to be led by CEO Torbjörn Nordenström.

The company fits well into our Outdoor Living business area, says MIDAQ’s CFO Håkan Sundberg.


As a new owner, MIDAQ will be a long-term partner and we will have access to resources and expertise for continued growth, says Simon Metall’s CEO Torbjörn Nordenström.

MIDAQ has signed an agreement with YMCA Jönköping

During the autumn, MIDAQ signed an agreement with YMCA Jönköping regarding support for young people and families who do not have the financial opportunity to participate in activities such as e.g. camp or sports activities. With the support, MIDAQ wants to contribute to young people in society having a meaningful and active leisure time.

MIDAQ acquires Magasin Group

MIDAQ has today, via the new business area MIDAQ Indoor Living, acquired 100% of the shares in Magasin Group from Johan and Wolfgang Jüngling, Jüngling Group.

Magasin Group was started in 1971 and consists of companies in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The Group has sales of just over SEK 100 million and has a broad portfolio of strong brands, both own and external, with high quality in household utensils and interior design (www.magasin.nu). The business will continue to be led by CEO Johan Jüngling.

Magasin Group fits well into our strategy and is a first step on our growth journey in the Indoor Living business area, says MIDAQ’s CEO Stefan Engdahl.

MIDAQ is today establishing our new and latest subsidiary, Validigruppen AB. Validi works with financial, business and transaction consulting and has offices in Jönköping and Anderstorp.

MIDAQ acquires Gårdsman

MIDAQ has today, via the business area MIDAQ Outdoor Living, signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Gårdsman AB by Niclas Samuelsson and Mattias Öhrling, Mek & Maskin Rumskulla AB. Gårdsman AB is a reseller of outdoor products from e.g. Husqvarna, Gardena, Stihl, Fogelsta and a number of complementary products. Sales and service take place partly via the company’s store in Jönköping, and partly via its own e-commerce (www.gardsman.se). Gårdsman has a wide range of outdoor products and in recent years has had a positive sales development via both the company’s store and via its own e-commerce. The company, which has a turnover of approx. SEK 50 million, has a strong brand and fits well into MIDAQ’s continued growth journey within the MIDAQ Outdoor Living business area. Gårdsman will continue its operations as an independent company within the group and is led by Joakim Andersson, who is also the CEO of Hillerstorp Outdoor Living AB.
