Sustainability

For MIDAQ, sustainability is an essential part of the long-term goal of creating sustainable companies and value growth. The work with sustainability for the Group is based on the vision: active ownership, long-term perspective, and sustainable development.

MIDAQ AB has an overall responsibility for sustainability where the parent company places demands on itself as well as on sustainability work for the entire Group. By emphasizing the importance of sustainability in the organization, MIDAQ AB creates the basis for each business area's work with sustainability. The parent company shows the direction of the sustainability work and places high demands on each business area and company.

MIDAQ AB has created a framework for the Group's sustainability work based on the international directives UN’s Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) to act responsibly and in accordance with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). MIDAQ, as the owner, is ambitious and hopes to be able to contribute to a positive societal development. By being long-term and sustainable owners, MIDAQ is convinced that joint care for the environment and people is a basic prerequisite for creating long-term values. Sustainability within the Group is the key, and therefore MIDAQ has created central frameworks in a code of conduct and environmental policy. The frameworks serve as guidelines for all companies in the MIDAQ Group, all employees, and all companies' stakeholders. It is the subsidiaries' responsibility to adapt the framework to the subsidiary's sustainability work. The central framework gives both MIDAQ AB and the Group's stakeholders the opportunity to annually analyse the sustainability work in the Group.
