MIDAQ acquires TR Group

MIDAQ Industry has today acquired 100% of the shares in TR Group AB, which includes Tranås Rostfria AB and TR Equipment AB with subsidiaries. The seller of TR Group AB is Maze Holding in Tranås AB.
 
Tranås Rostfria is a contract supplier that has been active since 1945 in steel and sheet metal processing and delivers components and finished products to customers in the local area. TR Equipment has its own range of assistive technology products for Patient Hygiene, and sales occur in the global market. The company has subsidiaries in England, Germany, and the USA and sells in other countries through distributors. TR Group has a sale of SEK 100 million and 50 employees.

• The main focus in the search for a new owner of Tranås Rostfria / TR Equipment has been to find a long-term professional owner with a clear ambition to continue developing the companies with Tranås as a base. Midaq meets these criteria, and it will be exciting to follow the companies development in the future, says Mattias Franzén. Mattias will continue as CEO for a transitional period.
