MIDAQ acquires strategy and communication agency Mecs

With its 23 years in the industry, Mecs has gone from being a web agency to becoming a comprehensive strategy and communication agency with sales of SEK 33 million and good profitability. With competencies from business developers to digital experts, the company covers the entire communication needs of its customers. Mecs has offices in Halmstad and Malmö and has 30 employees.

-Through the acquisition, Mecs will be a competent and experienced strategic partner for us and an important engine on our digital journey. Mecs will also continue to grow and develop together with its customers. The company has had an expansive year. Next year, we look forward to a successful collaboration for continued growth at both Mecs and other companies within MIDAQ, says Stefan Engdahl, CEO of MIDAQ.

-Mecs strength is our experience and our broad offering. We see that Mecs gets extra muscle to grow both geographically and in terms of competence and can gear up with a long-term owner. Together with MIDAQ, we get the opportunity to cross-fertilize our skills and create a joint driving force in both MIDAQ's and Mecs' business. We look forward to being a strategic partner at the same time as we make a highway into the digital arena for MIDAQ, says Anna Otterström, CEO and owner of Mecs.

MIDAQ AB is an investment company from Småland that invests in and develops medium-sized companies with their own products or services and strong brands.
